Lee DeMoreau appointed Hillview School Principal
Northland School Division (NSD) is pleased to announce the appointment of Lee DeMoreau as Hillview School Principal, effective August 26, 2024.
DeMoreau’s journey with NSD began in 2008 at Paddle Prairie School, where she taught junior high English Language Arts (ELA) and social studies. In 2010, she transitioned to O'Chiese First Nation School, continuing to teach junior high ELA, social studies, and Career and Technology Foundations (CTF). She returned to Northland in 2014, teaching at Paddle Prairie School and later transferring to Mistassiniy School to teach ELA, social studies, and Career and Life Management (CALM). In 2020, she joined Gift Lake School, where she has been teaching junior high ELA, social studies, Leadership, and CTF.
Throughout her career, DeMoreau has often served as acting principal and has been instrumental in organizing numerous engaging activities for students.

DeMoreau holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts with a Double Major in English and History and a Bachelor of Education from Lakehead University. Additionally, she has achieved the Leadership Quality Standard from the University of Alberta.
